Scissor-tailed Flycatcher

North Truro, MA - 11 November 2007

This immature Scissor-tailed Flycatcher was present on the wires alongside High Head Road in North Truro, just off of Route 6, during the late morning of 11 November 2007.  This is only about a quarter mile north of where another Scissor-tailed was found last year on almost the exact same date!

These images were taken with a Canon 20D and a Canon 100-400mm IS lens by Blair Nikula.
